Ding 70!

"There is nothing sexier than a naked albino tauren dinging 70."
A reading from the book of bytes.

Woot! I finally made it to level 70. After questing through Outlands tackling quests, dungeons and monstes, I have yet again reached the level cap of the game "World of Warcraft." I spent hours leveling as a resto shaman and all I can say is "I kicked some serious ass." I am very thankful for my new guild members who helped me quest and do dungeons.

More power to Berserker, Eviltim, Neosliver, Stronghunter, Ryan and Jen (you seriously cannot separate this two). Also to Diaballo, Tezzarin, Xbuster, Oldan and many others that have helped me quest.

Welcome to level 70 and welcome to the 2nd part of World of Warcraft.

P.S.
if you feel that I forgot to mention your name, please post something in the comment so i can add you in.

P.S.S
The names are not under the order of who helped me the most but alphabetically or shit! that is how i wanna write it down. Stop complaining.

Farewell Pod People!

"Help keep control the noob population, have your toons /gkicked or neutered."
A reading from the book of bytes.

Bytemarks has left The Pod People.

What?
"Bytemarks has been kicked from the guild by Infernalbill."
"Bytelyte has been promoted to Pod."
Yes, I asked Bill to kick Bytemarks from the guild and promote my rogue alt "Bytelyte" to a full member.

Why?
- To join the ranks of the Gimps Inc, a Conglomeration of Domination.
- To become the Shaman Class Leader.

Z0mG!!! Seriously WTF Why?
There are many reasons why I took my main character "Bytemarks" from "The Pod People and here is why:

- Progression: I want to see new things and I want to see them NOW rather than later. There are many opportunities in-game and IRL and I do not want to miss out on them by waiting. Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

- Close in-game friends: The core officers of Gimps are people I like and I came know in-game as friends. As a matter of fact, they are also previous "Pod People" members who either left the realm and came back or left the guild to hang out with their RL friends. Although I am aware some of my Pod People friends were slightly shocked when I left the guild and I jokingly answer them, "coz I am 1337" or "I am Gimped." They will be missed and I still talk to them from time to time, help them quest, etc. I am not completely detached from as of now.

- Frustration and many other stuff: I am somewhat frustrated of some people's decisions mostly of how they view the game and how they expect people to see it. We play the game to have fun, and if it upsets me constantly either because of rules, some noob, or other things then I am not having fun.

Do not get me wrong, it is the BEST guild I was ever part of. But with a guild the size of Azeroth itself, things can go out of hand as different cultures and mindsets are mixed in together. I admire the officers and appreciate the job they have done to keep the guild intact. They continuously do their best to uphold the values which the guild represents and they continue to do so to ensure that the guild runs smoothly. /cheer to all of them.

I know they lose game-time to spend hours in meetings talking about guild policies, dramas, events, etc. And it is frustrating that they get criticized for their "not well-received" decisions/comments. But I am gonna add a little to that :P. I hope if they ever read this, they do not feel offended, as my opinions are biased based on my perceptions and my experiences.
So here is my little rant. A little comment. "CHILL." I know that things can go out of hand, can blow into proportions if you do not weed out bad apples from the guild. And I know you have the power to /gkick, demote, silence, sap, polymorph, mind-control, banish, blind, root, and sleep your members BUT be REASONABLE. Again, this is just my opinion. I am not going to get into the details or provide an example. I do not want to create drama or start calling out instances in which these cases have happened. If something comes to your mind while you are reading this, that situation is probably one of them.

And I would like to leave one more comment. "THINK of what the consequences be, if you reject, kick or argue with someone." We have to always remember, that all people are different, we may share common interests or beliefs but we have different perceptions. We have feelings. Some people have different opinions and reasons of why they play the game. Some engage to have fun, some to boost their self-esteem, some may be battling depression, some to escape reality. And if you intentionally or unintentionally ruin that channel or that experience, think of those people when they will have to their Zolofts, and Prozacs. I am just kidding, but think of the possibilities.

We are not all 1337, I understand. Some of us have noob-tendencies, are impatient, have low self-esteem and high blood pressure. We are after all a huge family. We should look out for each other.

- Allergies: I kid! I kid! I may have a slight case of noob allergies but that is very minor. I reflected on the fact, that if I continue to discriminate against noobs, then I will become a "noob racist." And I hate the idea of racism. I may slowly lose my patience but I will never be that hateful.

"0mG bytes! They are gonna grill your ass and kick you from the guild."
Nah, they won't because kicking noobs from the guild is illegal in 50 states except Hawaii (wth is Raggie?), Australia, New Zealand, and Continental Europe, so I am safe. Plus, I am a ninja and you can not kick ninjas from the guild, ninjas will kick you instead.

P.S.
My quest log is full.
